Elham Maddah, born 1983, in Semnan, Iran. Graduated in Material Engineering, decided to pursue her dream ; After taking fashion courses and self study, she founded "Ye" fashion house, meaning "memory" in Semnani Language.
"Memories" are a rich source of inspiration for her, even though she is not captive in the story of Nostalgia. Considering the past as a ladder with a good perspective towards the future, as well as her anachronistic thoughts, make her works not fit into a particular style. Although she puts sustainability in practice by recycling old textiles and garments, and turning fabric wall crafts to clothes. Her latest eco-friendly collections show her concern about a green lifestyle.
She has had the experience of personal styling, theatre costume designing, translating and writing about fashion, as well as fashion designing.
